One of the legendary San Francisco bands from the late-1970s punk scene. They, like L.A.s The Screamers, made their mark as the rather unique "synth-punk" bands. This was their sole full-length album released during their existence and it is a must. It sounds way ahead of its time for 1980. The no-wave NYC synth-punk band Suicide seems to be an obvious influence, though I find this music a little more accessible than Suicide, as they seem to have one foot firmly in what would shortly become the new wave scene.
