Hailing from Jackson, Mississippi (now based in L.A.), Dent May was discovered by Animal Collective and signed to their imprint. This is 5th or 6th album (if you include his initial demo), but the first I have heard, and I instantly loved it. This is what I consider "Music for Craig"... sharing a lot of the elements of the bands he holds most dear. This album is sort of jangle-pop/power-pop, but am really excited to hear his previous work.
