Gospelbeach is led by Brent Rademaker, who is best known previously for the band Beachwood Sparks. The sound of Gospelbeach recalls the Laurel Canyon sound from the 60s/70s, but still feels modern as well. I had never heard any of their music prior to this, and as I listen again, am even more impressed the second time through. Puts me in an L.A. state of mind.
