An almost perfect album. I think I moved all but two of the songs to the Shlep Hates Music folder for future compilations. It also has one of my favorite songs, one that connects Monica and me, which is a cover: "I Keep Coming Back". Greg Dulli is awesome. Nobody sounds like him. He's a rock guy with a penchant for soul and the man can play. The man loves baseball, too. I have seen the Whigs twice, and they were excellent both times. One was a party atmosphere, the other was like two years later when a member of the band had died. Dulli's stage presence is great. He doesn't "perform" per se, but he cares and takes pride in putting on a good concert. This is my favorite album of The Afghan Whigs, a soundtrack to my experience in the 1990s.
