I bought this album in London in November 1985 when I was a sophomore in high school. I was on a trip with about 20 other people from my school, and when our bus was driving high in the Alps, I asked the bus driver to play this album and he did. I will always associate it with the majesty of those snow covered mountains. Growing up in Minnesota and Wisconsin, I was certainly not used to those mountain views - which were actually pretty scary at times cause you could look straight down the mountainside. It is a beautiful album and as I listen to it as I type this, I am struck by how it sounds like it isn't from any specific era. It doesn't sound like 1985. Though it is.. and frankly, it could be released next year and still sound as if it was from that future era.
