Have you ever heard of this band? I don't recall hearing about them and don't recall how I came across the album, but I must have had it for at least 15 years before finally listening to it, and damn, am I glad I did. They are from Winnipeg... I don't think I've ever heard of another band from there, but I love that they are from Canada. This isn't technically their debut... but it folds their independently released debut from the prior year with four new songs. Rarely does an album I listen to only once make it into the Shlep Dreams of Vinyl blog, but as I listen to it a second time as I type this, I recognize that the first listen wasn't an anomaly. This is a great record.. by the way, they take their name from a passage in Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions, which the artwork emulates.
