I have been blessed with many good people in my life - good friends, family, loves - and when it comes to friends, there are two things that bind me to most of them: music and baseball. Those that fall outside of that are generally more happy people, but yeah, whatever...love em and good for them. This is about the people that I share the music connection with (big crossover with baseball), and in this case it is Nick. He loves radio. When he moved from California back to Minnesota on is own in 1994, I would visit him when I visited my family... always so much fun! He loved the University of Minnesota's AM radio station, Radio K, and in particular, a Sunday afternoon program called "Cosmic Slop", which I grew to love too. I would listen sometimes when visiting, but mainly got to listen to most of it on the Internet Archive many years later. The song "Nothing But a Heartache", from this album, is TREMENDOUS and so is the rest of the album. Cosmic Slop... my style.
