Gayngs are a music collective that have their roots in Minneapolis and Eau Claire, WI (about 90 miles from the Twin Cities). Members include Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, Har Mar Superstar, and members of Doomtree, Megafaun, and Polica. There are 22 members total.
Taking their inspiration from 10cc's "I'm Not in Love" (every song on this debut album clock in at 69 beats per minute), they even include a cover of "Cry" by Godley & Creme, who were members of 10 cc.
Apparently, Prince was a fan.
It is a cool album to chill in your garage to.
