Shampoo - 1994 - We Are Shampoo

 

 

I had never heard of Shampoo until this year. The duo were teenagers in Plumstead, England when they formed their power pop/bubblegum punk act. They had first collaborated on a fanzine for Manic Street Preachers. They are like The Runaways of that era.... the era in which Spice Girls ruled the airwaves. A lot of fun. They never officially broke up... they just sort of aged out of it... had kids. That's as good as a reason as any.
