Josephine Wiggs was bassist for The Perfect Disaster. They opened for the Pixies and she got to be friends with Kim Deal. They then went on to form The Breeders with Tanya Donelly of Throwing Muses. This, her sole album under the moniker of The Josephine Wiggs experience was recorded with Spacemen 3/Spiritualized drummer John Mattock and released on the Beastie Boys' short-lived, but very cool, label Ground Royal. It isn't very well-known, but it is cool.
